Duties as Weapons Master for film have included:
- Pre-production: Inspecting, cataloging and maintaining weapons (primarily small arms and long guns). Responsible for teaching actors to handle their weapons safely on set. Worked with stunt coordinator to provide appropriate weapons for stunts. Maintained custody of weapons and coordinated with security personnel during shoot.
Duties as Prop Master for film and stage productions have included:
- Pre-production: Responsible not only for managing all props to be used in the show but also for finding or creating them if necessary (i.e., purchasing, building and/or designing them for construction by art department). During performance or shoot, controlled usage and kept props repaired. After performance or shoot, inventoried props and prepared for storage for future use.
